  • Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario

    The Comprehensive Provincial Exam (CPE) consists of an exam for each Tier level and may be written either in its entirety, or by individual Tier level in consecutive years.  Details are available by clicking here, or by choosing "Comprehensive Provincial Exam" under the Professional Development section on the HRPAO website.

  • TOSI/HRPAO Scholarship

    TOSI Placement Services Inc. and HRPAO jointly initiated a scholarship program in 1989 to encourage students to pursue an education and career in the field of human resources. 

    The TOSI/HRPAO scholarship is awarded annually to an outstanding HRPAO member who is enrolled in part-time or full-time studies in the association’s required academic courses.

    The winner of the scholarship is determined through an interview process by a panel (which includes representatives from both organizations) appointed by the HRPAO Awards Committee.

    Criteria:
    · Enrolled part-time or full-time in the association’s required academic courses with a minimum of a B average;
    · Work experience demonstrating competencies appropriate to the human resources field;
    · Commitment to continuous learning and a balanced approach to work/family life demonstrated through a variety of volunteer activities; and financial need.

    The Thunder Bay Human Resource Centre of Canada (HRCC) is responsible for the delivery of a wide range of programs and services, either directly or in partnership with community organizations.

  • Looking for a Human Resources Graduate and/or Human Resources Student or Other Types of Post Secondary Co-op/Intern Students? 

    A refundable tax credit is available for businesses hiring students enrolled in a recognized post-secondary Co-operative Education Program. The Co-operative Education Tax Credit will reimburse businesses up to $1,000 for each qualifying Co-operative Education work term placement.
